The CBSE has confirmed the registration window at @ctet.nic.in closes on June 10, 2026 at 11:59 PM. Candidates who wish to qualify for teaching posts in Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, Tibetan schools, and other central government school systems must act immediately.
The CTET September 2026 exam is scheduled for September 6, 2026, across 132 cities in India in 27 languages. CTET certificates issued from 2021 onwards carry lifetime validity, making each session a permanent career-qualifying opportunity.

Why CTET Qualification Is Essential
CTET is mandatory for recruitment in:
- Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS)
- Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS)
- All central government-run schools under the Ministry of Education
