The final key incorporates revisions from all valid objections submitted during the challenge window. A total of 7 questions were dropped from the final answer key across different subjects and shifts — all candidates who attempted those questions will automatically receive full marks for them, regardless of the option they chose.
Additionally, NTA has accepted two correct options for 44 questions across various subjects. Candidates who marked either of the accepted options for those questions will receive full marks.

What Comes After the Result
Each participating university releases its own merit lists and counselling schedules based on CUET UG 2026 scores. There is no centralised CUET counselling — students must apply separately on the admission portals of each university they are interested in. Over 250 universities including Delhi University, JNU, BHU, AMU, Jamia Millia Islamia, Hyderabad Central University, and many state universities use CUET UG 2026 scores for UG admissions 2026-27.
Expected good score reference: For top DU colleges, a score of 850 to 900 out of 1,000 (98 to 99 percentile) is considered competitive.
