BITS Pilani is releasing the BITSAT Iteration 3 Result today, 14 July 2026, marking the third round of counselling for admission to B.E., B.Pharm., and integrated M.Sc. programmes across the Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses. Candidates who submitted their preferences after choice filling, which concluded on 3 June 2026, can now check whether they have received a fresh seat allotment, been placed on the waiting list, or been upgraded to a higher-preference campus or programme based on their BITSAT score and seat availability.
How to Check Your Iteration 3 Allotment
Candidates can follow these steps to view their Iteration 3 seat allotment status:

- Visit the official BITS admission portal at bitsadmission.com.
- Click on the Iteration III Result link on the homepage.
- Log in using the fresh credentials sent to your registered email ID, which are different from your regular login details.
- Your seat allotment status, along with the allotted campus and programme, will be displayed on screen.
- Download and save the allotment result for future reference.
Candidates who are upgraded to a higher preference automatically receive the revised allotment, while those who remain on the waiting list stay in contention for the next round.
Cutoff Trends and Fee Payment Deadline
Based on trends from the previous round, the BITSAT Iteration 3 Result 2026 is expected to show a further dip in cutoffs, since Iteration 2 had already recorded a drop of around 10 marks across major branches, with only a few programmes showing no change. The official campus-wise cutoff for each programme will be released only after all rounds of counselling are complete. Candidates who receive a seat allotment in this round must pay the admission fee by 18 July 2026 to retain their offer; missing this deadline will result in cancellation of the allotted seat, and the candidate may not remain eligible for subsequent rounds.
What Happens After Iteration 3
Once the BITSAT Iteration 3 Result is out, allotted candidates have the option to either freeze their seat, which confirms admission and removes them from further upgrade rounds, or continue in the pool for a potential upgrade in later iterations. BITS Pilani conducts the counselling process in up to seven rounds in total, with an additional special round held only if seats remain vacant after the first three main iterations following the BITSAT Iteration 3 Result 2026 announcement.
Candidates are advised to keep checking the official portal regularly for the release of subsequent rounds, the final cutoff list, and reporting instructions for their allotted campus, since delays in confirming admission can result in the loss of an offered seat. Those who remain on the waiting list after this round should stay hopeful, as previous cycles have shown noticeable movement across later iterations, especially once earlier withdrawal windows and fee deadlines pass and additional seats open up.
