Bundelkhand University, Jhansi has confirmed that UP B.Ed JEE Counselling 2026 Round 2 registration will begin on 24 July 2026, following the completion of the first phase. Eligible candidates who fall in this bracket can complete registration and choice filling before the deadline to participate in the next seat allotment round.
UP B.Ed JEE Counselling 2026: Phase 1 Recap
The Main Counselling Round 1 (Phase 1), meant for candidates with a state rank between 1 and 1,50,000, began on 1 July 2026. Choice filling for Phase 1 opened on 3 July 2026 and closed on 17 July 2026, with the Phase 1 seat allotment result scheduled for 18 July 2026. Candidates who were allotted a seat in Phase 1 need to confirm their admission by paying the required fee and reporting to the allotted college within the specified dates.

UP B.Ed JEE Counselling 2026 Round 2: What to Expect
Round 2 (Phase 2) of the UP B.Ed JEE counselling is meant for candidates with a state rank of 1,50,001 and beyond. Registration for this phase is scheduled to begin on 24 July 2026 on the official portal, bujhansi.ac.in. Candidates in this rank bracket, along with those from Phase 1 who wish to participate again, will need to complete the following steps once the window opens:
- Log in using UP B.Ed JEE 2026 credentials on the official counselling portal.
- Pay the counselling registration fee (non-refundable, applicable afresh for each round).
- Fill in bank account details for refund purposes.
- Complete choice filling, selecting preferred colleges in order of priority — placing government colleges first, followed by aided and self-financed institutes.
- Lock choices before the deadline, since locked preferences cannot be edited later.
- Await the Round 2 seat allotment result, expected shortly after the choice-locking window closes.
Fees and Important Notes
Candidates need to pay a counselling registration fee of Rs. 750 for participating in Round 2, along with an advance institute fee, which is conditionally refundable depending on whether a seat is allotted. All payments must be made online only, through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI; no offline or cash payments are accepted. Candidates allotted a seat but who fail to pay the confirmation fee on time will be required to pay the full institute fee if they choose to participate in a later round, without any adjustment of previously paid advance amounts.
What Comes After Round 2
Following the completion of Round 2, UP B.Ed JEE counselling 2026 is set to continue with Pool Counselling, expected to open around 9 August 2026 for candidates who missed earlier rounds or remain unallotted, followed by Direct Admission rounds later in August. The overall counselling process, spread across five stages, is expected to run until October 2026, giving candidates multiple opportunities to secure a B.Ed seat across participating colleges in Uttar Pradesh.
