The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has declared the CISCE ISC Improvement Result for the Class 12 Improvement Examination 2026. Students who appeared for the improvement exam to boost their subject scores can now check and download their results through the official CISCE portals.
CISCE ISC Improvement Result 2026: Key Details
According to the official update, students who wrote the improvement paper need not worry about a drop in marks. CISCE has confirmed that whichever score is higher — the main board exam or the improvement exam — will be treated as the final mark for that subject. If the improvement score turns out lower, the original mark from the main ISC 12th result stays valid.

Along with the CISCE ISC Improvement Result, digital marksheets will also be made available on DigiLocker starting 20 July 2026, giving students an additional way to access verified copies of their scorecards online.

Document Submission Requirement for Revised Certificates
Schools have been directed by CISCE to inform students about their updated scores and collect the previously issued result documents before issuing revised ones. Depending on the student’s status, the documents to be submitted include the Pass Certificate-cum-Statement of Marks and Migration Certificate for qualified candidates, the Supplementary Statement of Marks for those with a supplementary result, and the Statement of Marks for candidates marked not qualified. Once submitted, schools will issue the amended documents reflecting the updated CISCE ISC Improvement Result.
