The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has reopened the CA Final registration window for the November 2026 examination, giving candidates who missed the earlier deadline a fresh chance to submit their exam forms. The announcement was made through ICAI’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle on 29 July 2026, and comes as welcome relief for students who ran into last-minute hurdles during the original cycle.
When Is the CA Final Registration Window Open Now?
According to ICAI, the exam application window for the November 2026 session will remain open from 1 August 2026 to 5 August 2026. The Institute has confirmed that a detailed official notification, laying out the complete procedure and any applicable fee structure, will follow shortly.
This marks a second opportunity for students who could not complete their CA Final registration submission during the original cycle. The process had first opened on 6 July 2026, with the no-late-fee deadline falling on 19 July 2026 and the late-fee window (₹600) closing on 22 July 2026. Candidates who missed both these dates now have one more short window to secure their seat for the upcoming attempt.
Why Did ICAI Reopen the Application Window?
ICAI has not detailed specific reasons in its short announcement, but such reopenings typically help candidates affected by technical glitches, payment failures, or documentation delays during the original submission period. The move is aimed at ensuring eligible students are not left out of the November attempt due to procedural hurdles rather than eligibility issues.
