The State CET Cell, Maharashtra, has released the MAH MBA CAP 2026 Round 1 provisional seat allotment result. Candidates who registered for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) can now log in to their candidate dashboard to check their allotted institute, programme, and category.
The Round 1 allotment was declared on 02 August 2026 at the official portal, cetcell.mahacet.org. Both Maharashtra State (MS) and All India (AI) category candidates who filled out their option forms can view their results using their application ID and password.
MAH MBA CAP 2026 Round 1: How to Check Allotment
- Visit cetcell.mahacet.org and go to the MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2026 CAP section
- Click on the CAP Round 1 Provisional Seat Allotment link
- Log in using your Application ID and Password
- View your allotted college, programme, and category seat type
- Download the allotment letter for your records
Candidates who see a “No Allotment” message did not receive a seat in Round 1 based on their rank, preferences, and seat availability, and can revise their option form for CAP Round 2.
Seat Acceptance and Reporting Dates
Candidates who received a MAH MBA CAP 2026 Round 1 seat allotment must complete the following steps within the given deadlines:
- Seat Acceptance: 03 August 2026 to 05 August 2026 (up to 3 PM)
- Reporting to Allotted Institute: 03 August 2026 to 05 August 2026 (up to 5 PM)
- Display of Vacant Seats for Round 2: 06 August 2026
- CAP Round 2 Option Form Filling: 07 August 2026 to 09 August 2026
Candidates who accept and secure a seat in Round 1 can still participate in Round 2 through the betterment option to try for a preferred college, while provisionally locking their current seat.
CAP Round 1: Cut-Off Trends
Category-wise cut-offs vary across participating institutes. For the Open category in Round 1, PUMBA Pune recorded a cut-off of 99.80 percentile, while SIMSREE Mumbai ranged between 99.85 and 100 percentile. JBIMS Mumbai, traditionally the toughest to crack, recorded a Round 1 cut-off between 99.89 and 100 percentile for the Open category, a slight dip compared to previous years. Candidates can check the complete category-wise cut-off list on the CAP portal after logging in.
Documents Required for Reporting
Candidates reporting to their allotted institute must carry the following:
- MAH MBA CET 2026 scorecard and final merit list acknowledgement
- CAP Round 1 allotment letter
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
- Graduation mark sheets and degree/provisional certificate
- Category, caste validity, EWS or PwD certificate, where applicable
- Domicile certificate, where applicable
- Valid photo ID and passport-size photographs
- Seat acceptance fee payment receipt
There is no option to confirm admission directly at the college; candidates must first accept the seat online on the CAP portal before visiting the institute. Missing the seat-confirmation deadline will result in automatic cancellation of the allotted seat, so candidates are advised to complete the process well within the deadline.
