Punjab Police has released the Constable Answer Key 2026 on 5 August 2026 for candidates who appeared in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). The provisional answer key and individual response sheets are now available on the official website for the recruitment drive covering 3,298 Constable posts under Advertisement No. 01 of 2026.
Punjab Police Constable Answer Key 2026: Key Details
The CBT was conducted across multiple shifts from 1 July to 30 July 2026 at examination centres throughout the state, with lakhs of candidates appearing for the exam. This large-scale recruitment drive has drawn significant interest given the limited number of constable vacancies advertised each year. The exam covers vacancies in two cadres:
- District Police Cadre: 2,522 posts
- Armed Police Cadre: 776 posts
Candidates can now compare their recorded responses with the official answers to estimate their probable scores ahead of the final result. The individual OMR record shows each candidate’s marked answers for their specific exam date and shift, alongside the provisional answer key. Since the CBT was held across several shifts spanning an entire month, the answer key has been published shift-wise to account for minor variations in question sets between sessions.
