The DASA Counselling 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result is scheduled to be declared today, 6 August 2026, at 5 PM, on the official portal, csab.nic.in. This year, DASA UG and CSAB Special Rounds have been brought under a single counselling umbrella, and the results will determine seats for candidates who registered and locked their choices in both processes.
DASA Counselling 2026: Schedule So Far
Registration, fee payment, and choice filling for DASA Counselling 2026 and CSAB Special Rounds opened on 28 July, following the display of vacant seats after JoSAA 2026 concluded. The last date to submit applications was 3 August, and choice filling and locking closed on 5 August.
A mock seat allotment was released earlier on 31 July, giving candidates a preview of their probable allotment before they finalised preferences. The counselling cycle this year runs across two rounds instead of three, with 114 participating institutes and around 48,000 total seats on offer, both higher than last year.

What Happens After the Result
Candidates who receive a seat in Round 1 must exercise one of the willingness options — Freeze, Slide, Float, Surrender, or Withdraw — and complete online reporting between 6 and 10 August, including document upload and fee payment where applicable. The last date to respond to queries raised during document verification for this round is 11 August.
Candidates not satisfied with their Round 1 allotment, or those who did not receive a seat, will automatically remain in contention for Round 2, whose result is scheduled for 12 August. If you confirmed a seat through DASA, please report to your assigned institute and pay the balance admission fee within the prescribed window later this month.
