The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) has confirmed that today, 12 August 2026, is the last date to complete online registration and PIN purchase for Gujarat NEET UG Counselling 2026. Candidates who qualified NEET UG 2026 and wish to be considered for MBBS and BDS seats under the state’s 85% state quota must complete this step by 4:00 PM through the official portal, medadmgujarat.org.
Registration and PIN Purchase Deadline Today
The registration and PIN purchase window opened on 31 July 2026 and closes today. Candidates are strongly advised to complete the process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues, since no further extension has been announced by ACPUGMEC as of now. Counselling under this cycle covers admission to Medical (MBBS) and Dental (BDS) courses; the schedule for Ayurvedic, Homoeopathy, and other AYUSH courses will be announced separately.
Registration Fee and Steps to Apply in Gujarat NEET UG Counselling
Candidates need to pay a total of Rs 11,000, which includes the PIN purchase fee along with a refundable security deposit. To register, candidates should visit medadmgujarat.org, click on the login link for Under-Graduate Medical/Dental admission, select the option to purchase a PIN, and enter their NEET UG 2026 roll number, name, email address, and mobile number. After completing payment, candidates must confirm registration and take a printout of the registration slip.
Document Verification Schedule
After completing Gujarat NEET UG Counselling online registration, candidates must report to a designated help centre for document verification. This process is being held from 3 August to 13 August 2026, up to 4:00 PM. Candidates should carry photocopies of all required documents, including their NEET UG 2026 scorecard, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, category and domicile certificates where applicable, along with the originals for verification. If you do not complete this step within the specified window, you will not be eligible for subsequent stages such as choice filling and seat allotment. Please plan your visit to the help centre well in advance.
Eligibility for the State Quota Counselling
To participate in the 85% state quota counselling, candidates must have qualified NEET UG 2026 and hold a valid Gujarat domicile certificate, in addition to meeting the standard NEET UG eligibility norms set by the National Medical Commission. Candidates must also be at least 17 years old by 31 December 2026.
Seat allotment will be based on NEET UG 2026 rank, category, applicable reservation policy, seat availability, and the choices filled by the candidate during the counselling process. Aspirants are advised to keep checking the official portal regularly for the merit list release and further schedule updates, since counselling timelines can shift based on administrative requirements.
