XLRI conducts the XAT 2027 Mock Test as part of its ongoing preparation support for candidates registering early for the exam cycle. Here are the essential points to note:

- Access: The mock test link activates on the candidate’s dashboard only after the application is submitted
- Purpose: Familiarises candidates with the XAT interface, section-wise timing, and question pattern
Candidates who have not yet submitted their XAT 2027 form will need to complete registration first, since the mock test portal does not open for incomplete applications.
How to Register for XAT 2027 Before the Deadline
To become eligible for the August mock test, candidates must finish their application on the official portal. The process involves:
- Visiting xatonline.in and creating a login using name, email ID, and mobile number
- Filling in personal, academic, and category details in the application form
- Uploading a scanned photograph and signature as per specifications
- Selecting up to six preferred exam cities
- Paying the XAT registration fee of Rs. 2,300 (an additional Rs. 200 applies for XLRI programme applicants)
- Submitting the form and downloading the confirmation receipt
Candidates registering early also get priority in exam city allotment, so completing the form well before August 27 is advisable rather than waiting until the last date.
