New Delhi, January 29, 2024:Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) recently held its second annual convocation ceremony for students of its online Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program. Over 80% of 2021-23 batch and 63% of 2022-24 batch students received their PGDM diplomas at the event.
Nearly 1000 working professionals have enrolled in the two-year online program since its launch. The current cohort reflects a 70:30 male to female ratio and 76% share of experienced learners.
The unique PGDM course focuses on cross-functional business perspectives across domains like Marketing, Finance, Analytics etc. The dissertation module further allows students to gain deeper Industry insights.
Addressing the graduates, BIMTECH Director Ms Prabina Rajib congratulated them on their determination and excellence. She expressed confidence that they are well-poised as future leaders to drive impact across various business roles.
Key guest speakers included Mr Prem Singh, President JK Organization, Mr Prasad Rampalli, CTO Deloitte, and Mr Govind Kumar, President UpGrad. The ceremony was also attended by senior BIMTECH officials.
Emphasizing practical learning for tomorrow’s business landscape, BIMTECH’s online PGDM program aims at shaping a new generation of socially conscious managers and technocrats. The institute plans to continue enhancing its blended education portfolio to extend flexible management education avenues for working Indians.

With a 7:3 male-female ratio, 83% from cohort 2 and 63% from cohort 3 received their diplomas. Over the past three years, around 1,000 students have been admitted to the program. The online PGDM course boasts a 76% enrollment of experienced learners and 30% women. It offers dual specialization and emphasizes practical learning. The convocation featured distinguished speakers and BIMTECH leadership.
