AME CET 2027: The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test (AME CET) 2027 application form has gone live on the official website from 1 September 2026. AME CET is a national-level entrance test offering admission to aviation courses across India, including Pilot and AME licensing programmes, Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering, aviation-related graduation and diploma courses, and certification programmes such as Cabin Crew and Airport Management. Candidates can apply either online through the official website or offline through approved centres.

Steps to Apply Online
- Visit the official website, amecet.in, and click on “Apply Online”
- Fill in basic personal information and upload a passport-size photograph
- Pay the application fee through debit card, credit card, net banking, or other online payment modes
- Submit the form; a confirmation message with a registration number will be sent to the registered mobile number and email
- Save the registration number, as it will be used as the reference for all further communication with AME CET

- Visit an AME CET-approved centre and purchase the application form after paying the applicable fee
- Fill in basic information and paste a passport-size photograph on the form
- Send the completed form to the AME CET Corporate Office at WZ-13-E, First Floor, Asalatpur, A2 Block, Janakpuri, New Delhi, PIN-110058
Application Fee
The registration fee is ₹1,600 for male candidates in the General and OBC categories. Female candidates across all categories, along with SC/ST candidates of either gender, pay ₹1,400. The fee structure is the same for both online and offline applications, and it is non-refundable once paid.
Eligibility Snapshot
Candidates must be between 14 and 28 years of age at the time of admission, and each candidate can attempt AME CET a maximum of three times. Minimum qualification varies by course: licence and engineering programmes generally require Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, while some diploma and certification courses accept candidates who have passed Class 10 or Class 12 in any stream. The exam itself consists of 90 multiple-choice questions across a 90-minute duration, available in both English and Hindi, in online and offline modes on the same day.
