The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has disclosed that 4,04,319 students applied for scanned copies of their Class 12 evaluated answer books — an unprecedented number that reflects the depth of concern among students over the On-Screen Marking (OSM) evaluation process introduced in 2026. Of the 11,31,961 answer books requested, the board has already delivered 8,98,214 scanned copies digitally.
The Post-Result Activities portal opened on June 1, 2026, and students can now apply for marks verification and re-evaluation at cbse.gov.in. Students who have already received their scanned answer books are now eligible to proceed with the next stage.
