Delhi University CSAS UG Round 1 Seat Allotment Released on July 16 Over 93000 Students Allotted Colleges Across 67 DU Campuses
The University of Delhi released the CSAS UG Round 1 seat allotment on July 16, 2026 at 5:00 PM through the official admission portal at @ugadmission.uod.ac.in. According to official university data, a total of 93,033 candidates received allotments in the first round — comprising 51,014 female candidates and 42,019 male candidates. Additionally, 1,243 seats were allotted under the Single Girl Child supernumerary category.

Seat allotment was computed strictly on the basis of CUET UG 2026 normalised scores, programme-specific eligibility criteria, category reservations, and the preference order submitted by candidates during the CSAS Phase 2 choice filling window. The university is offering admission across 73 undergraduate programmes and more than 100 BA programme combinations at its 67 affiliated colleges.
Candidates allotted seats must accept their allotment by July 18, 2026. Colleges will verify documents by July 20. The final deadline for online fee payment to confirm admission is July 21, 2026. Failure to accept the seat or complete fee payment within these deadlines will result in automatic cancellation of the allotment. After accepting the allotted seat, candidates who wish to try for an upgrade can reorder higher preferences until July 21. The Round 2 seat allocation is expected between July 25 and July 28.
Delhi University remains the single most sought-after undergraduate destination in India, and the first allotment list sets the tone for the entire admission cycle. Students who have been allotted their preferred college must act swiftly. Those who received a lower preference should accept the seat, pay the fee, and participate in the upgrade window for Round 2 rather than risk losing the allotment entirely.
