Students allotted seats in Delhi University’s CSAS UG Round 1 released on July 16 must complete the acceptance process within an extremely tight window. The seat acceptance deadline is July 18 at 11:59 PM. Colleges verify uploaded documents by July 20. The final fee payment deadline to confirm admission is July 21.
Students who are satisfied with their allotment should accept the seat and pay immediately. Those who want a better option can accept the allotted seat, pay the fee, and then reorder higher preferences until July 21 for consideration in Round 2. If an upgrade is received in Round 2, the Round 1 fee is adjusted. If no upgrade is available, the Round 1 seat remains confirmed.
Failing to accept the seat by July 18 or failing to pay fees by July 21 will automatically cancel the allotment, and the candidate will not participate in further rounds.
Every year, thousands of DU aspirants lose allotted seats simply because they miss these short deadlines. Students must complete all formalities within the next four days.
