The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) is expected to release the FTII JET Result for the Stage 1 Written Test shortly on its official portal, applyadmission.co.in. Candidates who appeared for the Joint Entrance Test on 26 April 2026 have been awaiting the outcome, which will decide who advances to the second stage of the selection process.
FTII JET is conducted jointly by the Film and Television Institute of India and the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute for admission to postgraduate and certificate-level film and television courses.
How the Two-Stage Result Works
FTII JET follows a two-stage evaluation. Stage 1, the written test, carries 30% weightage in a candidate’s overall performance, while Stage 2 is a mixed-format assessment that includes practical and interview-based components. Only candidates who clear the Stage 1 cut-off will be shortlisted for Stage 2, which will be followed by a final merit list combining marks from both stages. The schedule for Stage 2 has not yet been announced by the institute.
Steps to Check FTII JET Written Test Result
Once declared, candidates can check their FTII JET Result by following these steps:
- Visit the official website, applyadmission.co.in
- Click on the Result link on the homepage.
- Enter any two of the following: Application Number, Date of Birth, or Roll Number.
- Click Submit to view the scorecard.
- Download and save the result for future reference.
The scorecard typically includes stage-wise marks and remains valid only until admissions for the current academic year are finalised.
