HSTES LEET 2026 Admit Card: If you are a diploma holder or a B.Sc. graduate with dreams of directly stepping into the second year of a B.Tech programme in Haryana, your exam season has officially begun. The Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) has released the HSTES LEET 2026 Admit Card on June 26, 2026, at the official portal techadmissionshry.gov.in, signalling the start of the final countdown to one of Haryana’s most career-defining technical entrance tests. The exam itself is scheduled for June 30 to July 1, 2026, in online Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, and every registered candidate must have their hall ticket in hand before stepping anywhere near an examination centre.

What Is HSTES LEET and Why Does It Matter?

Before diving into the practicalities of the admit card, it helps to understand what LEET represents for thousands of students across Haryana each year. Haryana LEET (Lateral Entry Engineering Test) is conducted by HSTES as a common online CBT for diploma holders and B.Sc. graduates who want direct admission into the 2nd year (3rd semester) of B.Tech or B.Pharmacy programmes in Haryana engineering and pharmacy colleges. It is, in essence, a golden shortcut — three years of diploma-level technical education earning you the right to jump straight into the second year of a degree programme, bypassing the long route taken by conventional first-year students.

The exam is conducted entirely in online Computer-Based Test mode at designated centres across Haryana, with no negative marking — a significant structural advantage that encourages candidates to attempt every question without fear of penalty.

Who Can Appear — Eligibility Recap

Candidates appearing for the HSTES LEET 2026 exam must meet one of the following conditions:

Candidates should have passed a Diploma in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates), or they should hold a B.Sc. degree with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category) and must have passed Class 12 with Mathematics as a subject.

Additional pathways include Class 12 (Science) with Mathematics or a Technical Vocational subject, or candidates who have completed 10th standard + two years of ITI with a relevant trade, or those who hold an NSQF Level 4 qualification in any course. The eligibility framework is deliberately broad to include diverse technical backgrounds.

How to Download the HSTES LEET 2026 Admit Card

The HSTES LEET 2026 Admit Card is available exclusively in online mode at techadmissionshry.gov.in. No admit card has been or will be sent by post, email, or any other offline channel. Every registered candidate must log in and download it themselves.

Here is exactly how to get it done:

  1. Open your browser and go directly to techadmissionshry.gov.in
  2. Click on the “Download/Print Admit Card” link on the homepage
  3. Enter your Application Number and Password or Date of Birth as required by the login system
  4. Your HSTES LEET 2026 Admit Card will appear on the screen — verify all printed details carefully
  5. Check your allotted exam centre, exam date, reporting time, and exam day guidelines printed on the hall ticket
  6. Download the admit card PDF and take multiple printouts — carry at least one to the exam centre and keep another as a backup

If you face any login difficulty, the HSTES Toll-Free Helpdesk can be reached at 1800-137-3735, or you can email onlineadmissionhelp@gmail.com for assistance.

What Does the HSTES LEET 2026 Admit Card Contain?

The hall ticket is not just an entry pass — it is a comprehensive document that tells you everything you need to know about your exam day. Along with your name and roll number, it will display your photograph, signature, the exam centre address, shift timing and reporting time, and the important instructions and rules you must follow inside the examination hall. Without this document, entry to the exam hall will be categorically refused — no exceptions.

Candidates must also carry a valid government-issued photo ID — such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Driving Licence — as a compulsory companion document to the admit card on exam day.

HSTES LEET 2026 Exam Pattern — Know What You Are Walking Into

The HSTES LEET 2026 exam tests candidates on multiple knowledge domains — Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Communication Skills, General Awareness, Electronics Stream, Mechanical Stream, and Other Engineering Streams.

The exam consists of 90 MCQ-format questions and is conducted in online CBT mode. There is no negative marking, which means candidates are free to attempt every question without any risk of deduction. The exam is conducted at designated centres across Haryana.

This no-negative-marking structure makes LEET a candidate-friendly exam — but it also raises the stakes for everyone, since theoretically every candidate can score full marks by attempting every question. Precision and speed both matter.

Key Dates — What the Road Ahead Looks Like

After the exam concludes, the HSTES LEET 2026 result is expected on July 8, 2026, and will be published in the form of an inter-se merit list — meaning the final ranking is based entirely on performance in the entrance exam. Once the merit list is released, no objections will be entertained.

The HSTES LEET 2026 counselling is scheduled to begin from July 9 to 12, 2026, with qualified candidates required to register and submit their college and branch choices during this window. Two rounds of counselling are planned — Round 1 covers all categories including SC, BC-A, BC-B, ESM, PH, KM, TFW, and Female reservation. A second and third round will follow if seats remain vacant.

Counselling fee can be paid either online using debit cards, credit cards, or net banking, or offline by generating an e-challan that must be deposited at designated Axis Bank or PNB bank branches.
