The Railway Recruitment Board is expected to declare the RRB Group D Result 2026 today, June 30, on the official and regional websites. More than 1,08,22,423 candidates appeared for the CEN 08/2024 exam, conducted across three shifts from late November 2025 to February 10, 2026, for 32,438 Level 1 posts including Pointsman, Track Maintainer, and Assistant Loco Shed.
Why the Result Was Delayed
The Railway Group D Result was delayed due to a Telangana High Court case over apprenticeship weightage marks. The court has now permitted the Railway Authority to release the Level 1 result, though 15 vacancies remain reserved until final disposal of the main petition.

Expected Cut Off and What Comes Next
For 2026, the paper difficulty was rated “Moderate to Difficult,” which might lead to a slightly lower cut-off compared to previous years. Northern Zones (Chandigarh, Delhi, Allahabad) are expected at 76-82 marks, with reserved categories typically seeing a dip of 5 to 12 marks from these figures.
Shortlisted candidates don’t have much time to rest, as the PET is tentatively scheduled for June 2026. For men, the requirement is lifting 35 kg and carrying it for 100 metres in 2 minutes, plus running 1000 metres in 4 minutes 15 seconds; for women, it’s lifting 20 kg over 100 metres in 2 minutes, plus a 1000-metre run in 5 minutes 40 seconds.
With the RRB Group D Result 2026 expected today, candidates should keep refreshing rrbcdg.gov.in and their regional RRB website, and begin PET preparation immediately if shortlisted.
