New Delhi, 5 April 2024: In a significant development that is sure to impact aspiring candidates, the State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the postponement of the declaration of results for all ongoing recruitment processes, including the much-anticipated SBI Clerk Mains 2024 examination.

According to the official notice released by SBI, this decision has been taken following a directive from the Ministry of Finance’s Department of Financial Services, citing the upcoming 18th Lok Sabha elections as the reason for the delay.

The notice states, “Results of all ongoing recruitments/engagements held earlier in FY 2023-24 are deferred as per directions of Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services. Results will be published once notification of completion of the entire 18th Lok Sabha election process is released by Election Commission of India.”

This means that the SBI Clerk Mains result 2024, which was earlier expected to be declared, has now been postponed. The tentative date for the announcement of the SBI Clerk Mains result 2024 is now set for June 10, 2024, subject to the successful completion of the Lok Sabha election process.

Candidates who appeared for the SBI Clerk Mains exam, which was conducted in multiple shifts on February 25 and March 4, 2024, are advised to regularly check the official SBI website, sbi.co.in, for updates on the ongoing SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024.

This delay in the result declaration is a direct consequence of the Ministry of Finance’s directive, aimed at ensuring the smooth and uninterrupted conduct of the 18th Lok Sabha elections. The State Bank of India has assured candidates that the results will be published once the notification of the completion of the entire election process is released by the Election Commission of India.

This development highlights the government’s commitment to maintaining the integrity of the electoral process, even if it means temporarily postponing the announcement of important recruitment results. Candidates are advised to remain patient and continue to monitor the SBI’s official channels for the latest updates on the SBI Clerk Mains 2024 recruitment process.
