New Delhi, 6 April 2024 – The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the final results for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors (SIs) in the Delhi Police and other Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) for the year 2023.
According to the official notice, a total of 1,865 candidates have been selected for the positions of SI in the Delhi Police and CAPF. This includes 166 female candidates, with 55 selected for the Delhi Police SI and 113 for the CAPF SI roles. The remaining 1,699 selected candidates are male.
The selection process involved a comprehensive evaluation, including computer-based examinations. Between March 1 and March 20, 2023, 7,046 candidates (568 females and 6,478 males) who had been shortlisted for medical examinations had their documents verified.
It is important to note that the results for the departmental vacancies in the Delhi Police have not been processed yet, as the Commission has stated that the Delhi Police will process the final results for their internal vacancies based on the candidates’ performance in the computer-based examinations.

It is worth mentioning that some candidates’ status has been marked as “Provisional” in the final results, and the concerned user departments have been advised to thoroughly check the eligibility of such candidates during the nomination process.
The successful candidates are now awaiting their final placement and appointment orders from the respective departments. This recruitment drive aims to fill the critical vacancies in the Delhi Police and CAPF, ensuring effective law enforcement and public safety.
