The SSC GD Constable 2026 exam cycle is in its final stretch, with the remaining shifts scheduled for May 29 and May 30, 2026. This brings the current cycle, which started on April 27, to a close. The SSC has recruited through this drive for 25,487 General Duty Constable and Rifleman posts in CAPFs, SSF, and Assam Rifles. Affected candidates from earlier cancelled shifts have already received fresh admit cards via ssc.gov.in.
All candidates appearing in remaining shifts must carry their revised admit cards and a valid Aadhaar-linked ID for the mandatory e-KYC verification at the exam centre. The SSC has reiterated its advisory to trust only official notifications and ignore unverified social media updates about shifts or centres.
After the CBT phase concludes, qualifying candidates will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standards Test (PST), medical examination, and document verification. The tentative PET/PST schedule will be announced on ssc.gov.in after the final answer key and CBT results are published.
