The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has opened online registration for TS LAWCET Counselling 2026, giving qualified candidates a limited window to secure a seat in 3-year and 5-year LLB programmes across the state. Registration for TS LAWCET Counselling 2026 began on 5 July 2026, and the window will close on 10 July, 2026, on the official portal, lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in. This year has seen a sharp rise in interest, with 61,420 candidates having registered for the entrance exam, roughly 8,000 more than last year, making timely registration especially important given the limited seats available.
Who Can Register for Counselling
Only candidates who cleared the minimum qualifying marks in TS LAWCET 2026 — declared on June 4, 2026 — are eligible to participate. General and OBC candidates needed at least 35% marks, while there is no minimum requirement for SC/ST candidates. A total of 3,866 seats in the 3-year LLB course and 1,812 seats in the 5-year LLB course are up for allotment through TS LAWCET Counselling 2026, spread across more than 30 participating law colleges in Telangana.
