WBMCC Counselling 2026 Schedule Highlights
As per the latest updates, the round 1 seat allotment result is slated to be published between 13 August and 22 August 2026, giving candidates their first list of allotted colleges based on NEET UG 2026 rank and submitted preferences.
WBMCC Counselling 2026 registration is scheduled to run from 31 August to 08 September 2026, allowing both retained and fresh candidates to participate. WBMCC will conduct the West Bengal NEET UG counselling in three rounds, with a stray vacancy round to follow if seats remain unfilled after round 3.
Eligibility Criteria for WB NEET UG Counselling
Candidates must have qualified NEET UG 2026 and passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, and English as core subjects. For the 85% state quota, candidates need to fulfil WBMCC’s domicile requirement, typically established through a certificate issued by the DM, ADM, SDO, or BDO.
The minimum qualifying percentile stands at 50 for UR and EWS candidates, 45 for UR-PwD and EWS-PwD candidates, and relaxed thresholds apply for SC, ST, and OBC categories, including their respective PwD sub-categories. Reservation category details are carried forward directly from the candidate’s original NEET UG 2026 application with the NTA and cannot be freshly declared during WBMCC registration.

After registration, candidates must attend physical document verification at their designated centre before they become eligible to fill and lock choices, except NRI candidates, who may be verified separately.
