The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the SBI PO admit card 2026 for the Online Preliminary Examination, allowing candidates who applied for the Probationary Officer recruitment to download their call letter.
Download Window and Key Dates
The call letter download window opened on 22 July 2026 and will remain active till 2 August 2026. This admit card is for the recruitment of 1,500 Probationary Officer vacancies (1,446 regular and 54 backlog) under Advertisement No. CRPD/PO/2026-27/09. The online application process for this recruitment cycle ran from 18 June to 8 July 2026, and a separate Pre-Examination Training (PET) call letter had already been issued on 17 July 2026 for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates who opted for the training.

Candidates should note that the exact Prelims exam date, shift, and centre are not centrally published. These details are candidate-specific and printed only on each individual’s downloaded call letter, so applicants must log in and check their own admit card rather than relying on a common exam-day schedule.
How to Download the Admit Card
Candidates can download their Prelims call letter by following these steps:
- Visit the official SBI Careers Portal.
- Look for the notice “Call Letter for Preliminary Examination” under the Probationary Officer 2026 recruitment section.
- Select the preferred admit card language.
- Enter Registration Number or Roll Number, along with Password or Date of Birth.
- Enter the captcha code and log in.
- Check every printed detail carefully once the admit card appears on screen.
- Download and take a clear printout for exam day.
What the Admit Card Contains
The call letter carries details essential for the exam day, including:
- Candidate’s name and photograph
- Registration number and roll number
- Exam date, shift, and reporting time
- Exam centre name and complete address
- Exam-day instructions and do’s and don’ts
Candidates must also carry one valid original photo ID proof, a photocopy of the same ID, and a passport-size photograph as specified on the admit card. SBI has also advised candidates against applying mehendi, ink, or any external substance on their hands, since biometric thumb verification is conducted at the centre.
Important Instructions
The SBI PO admit card 2026 is issued only online; SBI does not send it by post. No candidate will be allowed inside the exam hall without a valid, printed admit card, and the download link may not remain accessible once the window closes on 2 August. Candidates are advised to download and print their call letter well in advance, verify their exam centre and reporting time immediately, and report any discrepancy in their details to the SBI CRPD helpline without delay. Separate admit cards are issued for the Prelims, Mains, and Phase III stages of the SBI PO recruitment process.
