CBSE Class 12 Compartment Result 2026: Key Details
The compartment exam was conducted on 28 July 2026, giving students who failed one or two subjects in the main Class 12 exam a fresh chance to clear them. The original CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 was declared on 13 May 2026 with an overall pass percentage of 85.20%.
According to CBSE, a total of 2,91,576 students registered for the supplementary exam, of which 2,75,287 appeared. Within the compartment category specifically, 1,64,231 students appeared, and 53.08% cleared it — a sharp rise from last year’s 38.36% pass rate. As with the main exam, students must score at least 33% marks in each subject, with theory and practical components (where applicable) cleared separately.

- Visit the official CBSE result website or open the DigiLocker app.

What Happens Next
Regular students will receive their printed marksheet-cum-passing certificate through their respective schools, including those studying abroad. Private candidates will get their digital academic documents via DigiLocker, with printed copies sent to their registered address; those under the Delhi East and Delhi West regional offices may also collect documents directly from their exam centres.
