Who Is Eligible for Army BSc Nursing
Only unmarried, divorced, legally separated, or widowed female candidates who are Indian citizens can apply this year. A valid NEET (UG) 2026 score is mandatory, as the entrance test result forms the primary shortlisting parameter before candidates move to further stages such as a computer-based screening test, psychological assessment, interview, and medical examination.
Candidates should keep their NEET admit card and scorecard ready while filling the form, since these details are cross-verified at the time of registration.

A total of 220 seats are on offer this year across colleges affiliated with the AFMS. Institutes taking part in the intake include the College of Nursing at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, along with the College of Nursing at Command Hospital, Eastern Command, Kolkata, among other centres.
Selected candidates will train under the Army BSc Nursing, one of the country’s most respected uniformed medical cadres, and will receive either a permanent or short service commission once the four-year course is completed successfully.
