The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has reopened the COMEDK UGET Choice Editing window, now running from 17 to 24 July 2026, on the official website, comedk.org. Along with this extension, the Round 1 seat allotment result, which was originally scheduled for 17 July 2026, has been postponed, and COMEDK is yet to announce the revised date.
COMEDK UGET 2026 Counselling: What Has Changed
Candidates participating in COMEDK UGET 2026 counselling had already completed mock choice filling from 11 to 13 July 2026, with the mock seat allotment result declared on 14 July 2026. This was followed by a choice-editing window from 14 to 16 July 2026, ahead of the Round 1 result that was expected on 17 July 2026 at 4 PM. Instead, COMEDK has now reopened the choice-filling process for a further eight-day window, allowing candidates to add, remove, or reorder their preferred colleges and courses before the Round 1 seat allotment is finalised.
COMEDK UGET 2026: Revised Choice Editing Process
Candidates whose document verification status shows “Approved” can use the extended window to edit their preferences by following these steps:
- Visit the official website, comedk.org
- Click on “Candidate Login” and enter your Application Sequence Number/User ID and Password
- Access the counselling dashboard and select the choice-filling/editing option
- Add, remove, or rearrange your preferred colleges and branches
- Save your final choices before the window closes on 24 July 2026
Candidates are advised to fill in the maximum realistic number of choices, since entering too few preferences is a common reason strong-ranked candidates go unallotted.
