The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling process for engineering admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs is actively underway at @josaa.nic.in. How Mock Allotments Help Students
The two mock allotment rounds on June 8 and June 10 are simulations. They are not final. They show candidates a preview of likely seat allotment based on current choice order. Students can revise and reorder their preferences after reviewing mock results — right up to the June 11 lock deadline.
Candidates should use mock allotments to ask themselves: Am I likely to get my top preference? Are there better-ranked but equally acceptable alternatives I have placed too low? Are female supernumerary seats available that I am not using?
After Allotment: Freeze Slide Float Options
