The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is set to declare the highly anticipated KEA PGCET Result 2026 on 7 August 2026 on its official website. Thousands of postgraduate aspirants who appeared for the M.Tech and M.E entrance exams held on 23 May 2026, as well as the MBA and MCA examinations conducted on 14 June 2026, can now access their scorecards. Following the publication of the provisional answer key on 15 June 2026, evaluation processes have concluded, opening the portal for candidates to check their individual scores and statewide rank.
How to Check Your Scorecard on the Official KEA Portal
Candidates awaiting the KEA PGCET Result 2026 can check their qualification status directly through the online admission system. To avoid server slowdowns or login technicalities, candidates are advised to keep their PGCET registration number and date of birth ready.
To download the scorecard, visit cetonline.karnataka.gov.in, navigate to the PGCET admissions section, and select the active score verification link. After entering your login credentials, the screen will display your detailed subject-wise marks, total score, and allocated state merit rank. Saving a PDF copy and printing a physical score sheet is mandatory for the upcoming document verification round.
Understanding Rank Calculation and Qualifying Criteria
The announcement of the KEA PGCET Result 2026 will establish the eligibility shortlist for state quota seats across government and private institutions in Karnataka. The final merit position is calculated strictly on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test, subject to tie-breaking rules if multiple candidates secure identical scores.
Aspirants should carefully inspect all credentials printed on the Karnataka PGCET scorecard, including their candidate category, total marks scored, and stream-wise merit position. Any discrepancy found in personal information or category allocation must be reported immediately to KEA desk officials before counseling option entry begins.

Once the KEA PGCET Result 2026 is declared, qualified candidates will transition to the online centralized counseling phase. KEA will soon publish the schedule for offline document verification, where applicants must present their original educational certificates, caste/category credentials, and income certificates.
Following document verification, candidates will be assigned a unique verification code to participate in the web-option entry process. During option entry, students can select their preferred postgraduate colleges and specialization branches in order of priority. Seat allotments will subsequently be released in multiple rounds based on candidate ranks, category reservations, and institute seat availability.
