What This Round Covered?
The Round 2 counselling process covered 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats, along with 100 per cent seats of deemed universities, central universities, AFMC and AIIMS institutions, and JIPMER Puducherry and Karaikal.

This means candidates with concerns about their allotment needed to act through the specified grievance system, using the deadline mentioned in the notice, rather than through any other informal channel.

Candidates allotted a seat in Round 2 are required to complete their admission and reporting formalities within the prescribed window of September 12 to 18. Following this, participating institutes will verify the data of joined candidates, with this verification scheduled for September 19.
Separately, the academic session for undergraduate medical courses is set to commence on September 15, meaning some allotted candidates may begin classes even as the reporting and verification process for the round is still underway.
