Finance, B.Sc. Economics and other courses. Details Available on the Scorecard
The NMIMS NPAT Result 2026 dashboard includes candidate details, section-wise marks, normalised score, merit list status, and course-wise admission offers. Candidates must carefully verify all personal details — including name spelling and application number — and immediately report any discrepancies to the NMIMS admissions office.
How NPAT Scores Are Calculated
SVKM’s NMIMS calculates the NPAT score by awarding +1 mark for every correct answer and 0 marks for incorrect or unattempted questions. There is no negative marking. The total exam comprises 120 questions, totalling 120 marks. NMIMS applies a normalisation of scores to equate candidates’ scores across multiple attempts and sessions, and the best score across all three attempts is considered for merit rank allotment.
Expected Cutoffs for 2026
A normalised score of 68 to 71 or above is the historical benchmark for NMIMS Mumbai BBA shortlisting, while 60 to 67 is generally sufficient for Bengaluru, Navi Mumbai, and Hyderabad campuses. For B.Sc. At the Mumbai campus, candidates should aim for a score in the higher range, given the programme’s historically competitive cutoffs.
What Happens After the Result?
Candidates who are allocated an institute are allowed to accept or reject the admission offer through the candidate login dashboard. Those not shortlisted in the first merit list can wait for subsequent rounds. If any seats remain vacant after allocation to candidates in the first merit list, a second merit list will be released. At most, three merit lists will be released for admission to NMIMS.
No GD-PI round will be conducted for the final shortlisting of candidates. Depending on the scores secured, the candidate’s preferred college mentioned at the time of registration, and the institute’s cutoff levels and seat intake capacity, final admission will be provided.
Candidates are advised to download multiple copies of their NMIMS NPAT Result 2026 scorecards, as these will be required during document verification and the admission process at their allotted campus.
The declaration of the NMIMS NPAT Result 2026 marks a significant milestone for thousands of undergraduate aspirants across India. Candidates are strongly advised to log in promptly at npat.nmims.edu, accept their admission offer before the deadline, and complete document verification without delay. Missing any deadline may result in forfeiture of the allotted seat. Stay tuned to the official NMIMS portal for updates on subsequent merit lists and counselling schedules.
