The Re NEET 2026 Result is being closely tracked by over 20 lakh candidates, with an ANI report citing an NTA official confirming the outcome will be declared by July 20, 2026. Adding to the backdrop of this year’s cycle, the Rouse Avenue Court has extended the judicial custody of 10 accused in the NEET UG paper leak case till July 11, with all ten presented before the court through video conferencing — a reminder of the scrutiny surrounding this year’s re-examination.
Current Status: Answer Key and OMR Sheet
Unlike previous years, NTA has split its usual process for the NEET Re-Exam 2026 Result into separate stages. The provisional answer key was released on June 25, with the objection window closing on June 28 after over 10,000 challenges were filed. However, individual scanned OMR sheets have not been bundled with the answer key this time — instead, they’re being processed separately as physical sheets are digitised. Key points to note:

- Once OMR sheets go live, candidates can challenge machine-recorded responses by paying a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question
- The sequence being followed is: objection review → final answer key → OMR sheet access → result declaration
- NTA has clarified this parallel-processing approach is meant to speed up the overall evaluation timeline rather than delay it
How to Download the OMR Sheet and Result
Once available, candidates will need to follow these steps on the official portal:
- Visit neet.nta.nic.in and locate the relevant candidate activity link
- Log in using your application number and password
- View and download the OMR response sheet or result PDF, depending on what’s live
- Cross-check recorded responses against the answer key to estimate your score before the official result
The Re NEET 2026 Result will be published as a scorecard/PDF containing category-wise cutoffs, qualifying status, and All India Rank, based on the final answer key.
What Happens After the Result
Once results are declared, the Medical Counselling Committee is expected to open registration for All India Quota seats, while states manage their own quota counselling separately. Candidates are advised to keep documents like admit cards, identity proof, and category certificates ready in advance, and to rely only on official NTA communication rather than unverified dates circulating online regarding the Re NEET 2026 Result.
