The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has opened the registration process for the UP Board Exam 2027, covering both regular school-going students and individual private candidates appearing for the Class 10 High School and Class 12 Intermediate examinations. Schools across Uttar Pradesh must complete student admission and fee collection by 5 August 2026, marking the first major deadline in a schedule that stretches through September.
What the Registration Schedule Looks Like
According to the notification issued by UPMSP, school principals need to finish admitting students and collecting UP Board Exam fees for Class 10 and 12 by 5 August 2026. The fees collected must then be deposited in the treasury through a lump-sum challan by 10 August 2026.
Following this, schools are required to upload the treasury deposit details along with each student’s educational information on the official portal by 16 August 2026, before midnight. Institutions that miss this window can still deposit fees with a late charge of Rs 100 per student, provided the payment and the corresponding student data are uploaded by 20 August 2026.
How Private Candidates Should Apply
For students appearing as private candidates in the UP Board Exam, the process works a little differently from regular institutional registration. Individual candidates must first download the prescribed application form format from the UPMSP portal, examreg.upmsp.edu.in, and fill it out with accurate personal and academic details.
Once completed, the form has to be submitted along with the examination fee in cash and proof of educational qualification to the principal of the forwarding school or centre. From that point onward, it is the forwarding institution’s responsibility to verify the submitted details and complete the online registration on the candidate’s behalf, so private students should stay in regular contact with their forwarding principal to ensure nothing is missed.
