Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has restarted the UPTAC BTech registration process on 7 July 2026, reactivating the link on the official portal, uptac.samarth.edu.in. Candidates who missed the earlier registration window, or who wish to newly participate in the counselling process for admission to AKTU-affiliated colleges, can now apply until the revised deadline of 20 July 2026. The UPTAC BTech registration 2026 is open to candidates holding a valid score in JEE Main, CUET UG, or NATA, and covers undergraduate professional programmes offered across state universities and colleges in Uttar Pradesh.
Why the Registration Window Was Reopened
This isn’t the first schedule revision for the UPTAC BTech registration cycle. Registration originally opened on 25 May 2026, was later extended to June 30, and has now been reopened once again with a fresh deadline of 20 July 2026. AKTU has indicated that the revised counselling schedule, including choice filling and seat allotment dates, will be announced separately on the official portal. Candidates already registered under the earlier window do not need to register again.
