NTA also confirmed the release via its official X account @NTA_Exams, posting: “The City Intimation Slip for NEET (UG) 2026 Re-Exam has been released. Visit neet.nta.nic.in. Please note: This is the City Intimation Slip, not the Admit Card.” Over 22.79 lakh medical aspirants can now download the slip to know the city where their examination centre will be located on June 21, 2026.
This is a significant relief for students who have been waiting anxiously for advance information about their exam location so they can plan travel and accommodation. The re-examination is confirmed in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM in offline pen-and-paper mode across more than 5,400 centres in 550 cities across India.

Telangana Security Arrangements for June 21
In Telangana alone, 73,000 candidates will appear at 208 examination centres across the state. Telangana DG (Law and Order) Mahesh Bhagwat has directed close coordination between the police department and district administration to ensure smooth and secure conduct of the re-examination. Similar security briefings have been issued by DGPs across other major states.
Fake Paper Leak Warning
NTA has categorically dismissed claims circulating on Telegram channels that allege the June 21 question paper has been leaked. NTA responded on X: “These are being reported to CyberCrime for verification and action.” Students must not engage with or purchase anything from such channels. Doing so constitutes a criminal offence under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act 2024.
