Symbiosis International (Deemed) University, Pune, is expected to begin SNAP 2026 registration in the first week of August 2026 on the official portal, snaptest.org. As of today, 24 July 2026, the application window has not yet opened, but with the start date only days away, aspirants hoping to appear for the MBA entrance exam for admission into Symbiosis institutes should begin preparing their documents and reviewing the eligibility criteria in advance.
When Registration Opens and Closes
The application process is expected to run from the first week of August 2026 until the last week of November 2026, giving candidates a window of nearly four months to complete their applications. The exam itself is likely to be conducted across three test days in December 2026, following the same pattern as SNAP 2025, which was held on 6, 13, and 20 December 2025. Results for the 2025 cycle were declared on 9 January 2026, and a similar timeline is expected for the upcoming edition.

Eligibility Criteria for SNAP 2026 registration
To be eligible, candidates must hold a graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks, while candidates from SC, ST, or PwD categories need at least 45% marks in their qualifying degree. Students in their final year of a bachelor’s programme, or those awaiting their final results, can also apply, provided they meet the minimum marks requirement upon completion. Certain MBA specialisations at Symbiosis institutes may additionally require candidates to have studied specific subjects at the graduation level, so applicants are advised to check programme-wise requirements before applying.
Application Fee Structure
The SNAP 2026 application fee is set at Rs 2,250 per test attempt, and candidates may choose to register for one, two, or three attempts by paying separately for each. In addition to the exam fee, a separate fee of Rs 1,000 per institute or programme must be paid for every Symbiosis college a candidate wishes to apply to, since SNAP registration and college-wise applications are handled independently within the same portal. All fees are non-refundable once paid, so candidates are encouraged to review their entries carefully before submitting payment.
How to Apply Once the Portal Opens
Once live, candidates can visit snaptest.org and click on the “Register Here” option for new users. After agreeing to the terms and conditions, applicants will need to verify their mobile number and email ID through an OTP before completing the registration form with personal, academic, and category details.
The final step involves selecting preferred Symbiosis institutes and paying the corresponding programme fees, in addition to the exam fee for the chosen number of attempts. SNAP scores are used for admission to 17 institutes under Symbiosis International, including SIBM Pune, SCMHRD Pune, and SIBM Bangalore, based on a combination of the test score, Group Exercise, Personal Interview, and Written Ability Test.
