The State CET Cell, Maharashtra, is set to release the MH CET 3-year LLB Round 1 final merit list today, 24 July 2026, on the official counselling portal, llb3cap26.mahacet.org. The list will be prepared from candidates’ MH CET Law 2026 scores, category status, and the documents verified during the recent e-scrutiny window, and it decides who moves ahead into the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for 3-year LLB seats across Maharashtra.
Background of the CET 3-year LLB Counselling Process
The MH CET 3-year LLB CAP registration for the 2026-27 academic session had opened on 11 June 2026 and, after two separate extensions, finally closed on 13 July 2026. Following registration, the CET Cell published the Round 1 alphabetical merit list on 17 July 2026, allowing candidates from the Maharashtra State (MS), Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), Jammu & Kashmir migrant, and “Not Considered” categories to check their entries. A grievance window ran from 17 to 19 July 2026, during which candidates could correct discrepancies in their submitted details or upload revised documents before the list was finalised.

What the Final Merit List Includes
Once declared, the final list will carry each candidate’s state merit number, CAP form number, name, category and previous category, candidature type, and CET marks, along with academic percentages from qualifying examinations. Only candidates whose applications and documents have been successfully verified will find their names in the finalised list; those flagged with incomplete forms, missing options, or document discrepancies will continue to be marked separately, as has been the pattern in earlier counselling cycles. This finalised list forms the basis for the seat allotment that follows in subsequent CAP rounds.
How to Check the Merit List
Candidates can visit llb3cap26.mahacet.org and look for the notification link related to the Round 1 final merit list. After logging in with their registered CAP credentials, they should locate their name, application number, and category-wise merit number, and download the list as a PDF for their records. It is advisable to cross-check every personal and academic detail carefully, since any unresolved error at this stage could affect eligibility in the seat allotment round that follows.
